Corporate Financial Wellness Education

Are your people prepared for a 30‑year retirement?

Our parents retired at 65 and lived maybe 12 years. Retire at 65 today and you could easily reach 95. Almost nobody has been taught how to make money last that long.

Retireology brings a four-hour financial wellness education workshop into your workplace, taught live by a licensed professional in plain English. Free to the company. No sales. Ever.

How It Works

The Educate to Advise Model

Most financial companies get into your workplace by selling. We get in by teaching. Retireology financial wellness education rests on four commitments, and the fourth is the reason the other three hold.

There is no cost.

Free to the company. You provide the room and promote the event to your people. That is the entire expense.

There is no sales pitch.

No products. No insurance. No investments. No sign-up sheet. Nobody working the room on the way out.

Every attendee is offered a free review.

One-on-one, confidential, optional, and only for the people who ask for it.

We educate to earn the right to advise.

A few employees eventually ask the facilitator to become their planner. That is the only way anyone is ever paid, and only with the people who choose it.

The Reality

Your people are not okay about this, and they're not telling you

80%

Gen X is your management layer, ten to twenty years out, with the least runway left to fix anything. And the 52% is the expensive one: pulling from a retirement account early costs the balance, every year of growth it would have produced, plus a penalty and a tax bill. Most people don't know that when they fill out the form.

The Workshop

We answer the big three questions your people are asking

These aren't questions we invented. When 401(k) participants nationally are asked what they most want help with, these are the top three answers. Workplace financial education works when it starts where people actually are.

39%

“Am I saving enough?”

How much someone actually needs to be putting away to reach their goal. Not a rule of thumb. Not a percentage they heard once. Their number.

36%

“When can I afford to retire?”

The earliest age they can realistically stop working, and what has to be true for that date to hold.

35%

“Am I invested right?”

How to position a 401(k), 403(b), IRA, and Roth IRA for where someone is now and where they're headed.

Charles Schwab 401(k) Participant Survey.

Not one of those is answerable by an enrollment portal, a benefits app, or a fund fact sheet. They are the questions people ask a person. The workshop answers all three, plus Social Security timing, Medicare, retirement taxes, healthcare, and long-term care. Plain English, taught live, with a workbook they keep.

For HR

The safest yes you'll make all quarter

95% of employers now say they feel a sense of responsibility for their employees' financial wellness, and worker demand for financial guidance roughly doubled in 2025. Leadership already expects you to act. The only real question is whether you answer it with an app or with an expert.

A win with your name on it.

Visible, popular with employees, and it costs you nothing. Something concrete to point to at review time.

You become the hero, not the policy cop.

Most of what HR delivers is a rule. This is a gift, and employees thank you for it.

It takes a headache off your desk.

The 401(k) and retirement questions you can't answer finally have somewhere to go.

It moves the numbers you're graded on.

84% of employers say financial wellness tools help retention. Educated employees also participate and defer more.

It's completely turnkey.

We bring the facilitator, the curriculum, the workbooks, and the invitation copy. You book a room.

You get it free too.

You and your spouse are welcome at everything we offer your employees.

For the CFO

Financial stress is already on your P&L. You're just not seeing the line item.

Employees who cannot afford to retire stay years past the point they wanted to leave. Older, higher-salaried, higher on the health plan, and sitting in a seat the person below them was ready for two years ago. Every one of those years is a real number on your payroll. Helping your people retire on schedule is a workforce cost you can do something about.

The Retirement Readiness Review

Every attendee is offered a private, one-on-one session with the licensed professional who taught the workshop. It's confidential, it's optional, and it's provided at no cost by that professional through their own firm.

It exists because the workshop answers the questions everyone in the room shares...and there is always a set of questions that are only yours.

Am I invested right?

A look at how their retirement accounts are actually set up.

Am I saving enough?

What their goal requires them to be putting away.

When can I afford to retire?

What their numbers say about their timeline.

Only 27% of employees feel confident making their own 401(k) decisions. That figure nearly doubles the moment a professional is involved. The workshop closes the knowledge gap for the whole room at once. The Review closes the confidence gap one person at a time.

No employee is required to take one. Nothing discussed is ever shared with the employer.

Our Standards

Three things we will not compromise

Compliance-reviewed curriculum

Every slide, workbook, and handout is built to recognized educational standards and reviewed for compliance before it is ever delivered. Nothing reaches your people that has not been through that process.

Confidential, always

Nothing an employee shares in a session or a one-on-one is disclosed to the employer or to anyone else. Their information is never shared, never sold, and never used for anything other than helping them. Ever.

Independent of any product

We have no funds, no insurance, and no platform to steer anyone toward. That is what lets us fully support the plan you already offer instead of competing with it.

The Gap

This isn't a gap in anyone's competence. It's a gap in the org chart.

Everyone in your retirement benefits chain is doing their job well. The problem is that nobody's job is the employee.

Your benefits consultant serves the plan.

Plan design, recordkeeper selection, fee benchmarking, the 5500, nondiscrimination testing. They advise the company about the plan, and they are the reason your plan is any good. But a well-designed plan and an employee who knows how to use it are two different outcomes, and only one is in their scope.

Your HR management team serves the enrollment.

HR knows the match, the vesting schedule, the portal, and the window. What HR cannot do is answer "which funds should I be in." Not because they don't know, but because they are not licensed to answer it and counsel has told them not to try. So the question gets deflected and the employee guesses.

Nobody serves the person.

Most of an employee's retirement happens outside the plan. Social Security claiming. Medicare windows and what a missed one costs for life. How accounts are taxed on the way out. A spouse's accounts. Long-term care. A bad market in the first five years of withdrawals. None of it lives in the 401(k), so none of it is anyone's job.

That is the seat Retireology fills. We are independent of your plan, we have nothing to sell, and the person at the front of the room is licensed to handle the questions your HR team has to decline. We don't replace your benefits consultant or compete with your recordkeeper. We make both look better.

Pricing

Here is the entire bill.

“Free” makes people suspicious, and it should. So here is a complete and honest accounting of everything this costs your company.

01

Promoting it internally

We write the copy and design the flyer, finished. You send them under your own name, because an invitation from HR fills a room. Your cost is the printing and the send.

02

The room

A conference room, a training room, a cafeteria after lunch. Or your own conference service if you'd rather run it remotely. Whatever you already have.

03

That's it.

No licensing fee. No per-employee charge. No materials invoice. No minimum headcount. Nothing due before, during, or after.

You also choose the delivery model.

01

In person

Live in your meeting space. The facilitator travels to you and teaches to the group in front of them.

02

Virtual

Delivered over your own conference calling service, so remote and multi-site employees attend on the platform they already use.

03

Hybrid

Live in the room and broadcast at once, produced by your in-house media team. On-site and remote get the same session together.

Trusted by the companies that take their people seriously

The Process

From first call to full room in about six weeks

Step One

A 15-Minute Fit Check

We ask about your group, your plan, and the questions your people keep bringing you. Fifteen minutes, no presentation. If we are not right for your group, we will tell you on that call.

Step Two

Event Design Session

You'll meet your facilitator and they'll ask a bunch of questions to understand your people and their issues. We'll tailor the session for you, and figure out the who, what, where, and when of the event.

Step Three

We show up and teach

Four hours, your format, our facilitator, our materials. A printed workbook for every attendee.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is corporate financial wellness education?
Corporate financial wellness education is workplace instruction that teaches employees how retirement actually works, independent of any product or provider. It covers the full picture: retirement accounts, Social Security, Medicare, taxes, healthcare, and making savings last. Unlike enrollment education, it is not tied to a specific plan and nothing is being sold.
What does the workshop cost?
The workshop is free to the company. There is no licensing fee, no per-employee charge, and no invoice for materials. Retireology provides the facilitator, the curriculum, the slides, and a printed workbook for every attendee. Your only costs are promoting the event internally and providing a room or a conference line.
If it's free, what's the catch?
There is no catch, and we will tell you exactly how the model works. Employees who attend are offered a free one-on-one Retirement Readiness Review. Over time, a small number of them ask the facilitator to become their personal financial planner. That is the only way anyone is ever compensated.
Will our employees be sold anything?
No. There are no products, no insurance, no investments, no sign-up sheets, and nobody working the room. This is the single most common concern HR raises, and it's the reason the program is built this way. The workshop is instruction from start to finish, and the one-on-one Review afterward is optional and only for employees who request it.
How long is the workshop and can we split it up?
The full program runs four hours and can be delivered however suits your calendar. Common formats are four one-hour blocks across days or weeks, or a series of lunch-and-learns. It can be delivered live in person, entirely over your own conference calling service, or hybrid so remote and multi-site employees attend at the same time.
Can we record it?
Yes. You may record the workshop and make it privately available to your team members. You may not publish it on any public media site such as YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. The recording is for your workforce, not for distribution.
Is this only for employees near retirement?
No. The program is built for every career stage, and mixed-age rooms are the norm. A 32-year-old leaves with compounding, capturing the full match, HSAs, and protecting their income. A 58-year-old leaves with Social Security timing, Medicare, drawdown strategy, and tax sequencing. Spouses and partners are welcome.
How is this different from the education our 401(k) provider gives us?
Provider education is enrollment education, delivered by a company with a commercial interest in its own funds. It explains your plan. Retireology is independent and covers everything outside the plan: Social Security, Medicare, retirement taxes, healthcare, and long-term care. We do not replace your provider. We make employees far more likely to actually use the plan they run.
How is this different from an insurance company's workshop?
Workshops run by insurance companies are educational, but their curriculum tends to lead toward insurance solutions, because that is their business. Retireology is product-agnostic. We have nothing to steer anyone toward, which means we can fully support the plan you already offer rather than nudging your employees outside it.
Is anything from the one-on-one sessions shared with us?
No. Anything discussed in a Retirement Readiness Review is confidential between the employee and the facilitator. The employer never sees an individual's financial details, questions, or account information. No employee data is ever shared or sold to anyone. What you receive is aggregate program data only: attendance and post-workshop survey results.
How do we measure whether it worked?
You receive attendance figures and post-workshop survey results after the event, which gives you immediate numbers to report. Over a longer horizon, employers commonly watch plan participation rates and average deferral rates, both of which tend to respond when employees genuinely understand what they are enrolled in.
